A Quick Guide to Starting Your Spa with a Bromine Program.
Need Chlorine?
Spa maintenance is absolutely essential. Why? Because it keeps spa water soft and soothing, extends the life of spa surfaces, fights bacteria, protects equipment, and prevents future problems.
You can depend on
DJ'S to be the best source of reliable information, quality products and
service.
Bromine Program:
First Time Start-up
Fill spa with water
Superoxidize the spa with Brominating Concentrate with spa circulation turned on.
Operate for at least 2 hours.
Drain then rinse interior surfaces and refill.
Refill Guide
As spa is filling, add SpaGuard Stain and Scale Control.
Once spa is filled, start equipment following manufacturer's directions. Apply SpaGuard Water Clarifier and circulate water for 5 minutes.
Use SpaGuard Spa Sentry following the recommendations on your Water Analysis (DJ'S will have a Water Analysis tester coming soon.)
Apply SpaGuard Brominating Concentrate following label directions.
Add SpaGuard Natural Spa Enzyme once a bromine residual of 3 - 6 ppm is established.
